Bryan Komornik is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Healthcare Industry Group in Chicago. Mr. Komornik brings more than 20 years of management and technology consulting experience advising and supporting health plans, vertically integrated systems, product companies, and non-profits. He specializes in care management, medical management, population health, and provider lifecycle management and has a proven track record of bridging operations and technology to deliver complex, transformational initiatives to realize value.
Mr. Komornik’s delivery focus areas include healthcare management strategy, solution selection and vendor analysis, case and medical management platform modernization, operating model redesign, digital transformation and constituent experience, and program remediation and complex delivery management.
Mr. Komornik’s notable assignments include: leading the strategy, design, and creation of a five-year delivery roadmap to stand up a new population health company to improve experience, outcomes, and financial performance of the organization; leading the selection process, including the business case and implementation roadmap for a provider-owned health plan; and leading the migration and implementation of a new care management platform for a multi-state Blues plan.
Mr. Komornik also led an end-to-end assessment, definition of an improvement roadmap, and stand-up of a transformational office for the Chief Quality Officer and Health Services team of a large regional health plan to create efficiencies through process improvement, automation, and upskilling. He also advised the enterprise Chief Medical Officer and Population Health team across clinical operations, medical management, and behavioral health for a multi-state health plan to optimize integrated care team operations, modernize clinical platforms, and contain costs.
Before joining A&M, Mr. Komornik spent over eight years with West Monroe in Chicago as a Partner and national lead of the Care Management & Population Health practice.
Mr. Komornik earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
