Bryan Fleming is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Restructuring & Turnaround in Atlanta. He brings more than a decade of experience advising executives and boards of directors of underperforming and financially distressed companies on finance, financial turnaround, and restructuring initiatives.

As part of the North American Commercial Restructuring practice, Mr. Fleming has worked with clients across industries in various stages of underperformance, distress, and restructuring, including on cash flow forecasting, cash and liquidity management, and business plan development. His experience spans forbearance negotiations, rescue financing, out-of-court restructuring transactions, distressed M&A, and Chapter 11 processes, including Section 363 sales and plans of reorganization. Mr. Fleming notably advised Talen Energy Supply on its Chapter 11 restructuring.

Mr. Fleming’s past engagements include an offshore oil and gas exploration and production company selling assets in Chapter 11, Gulfport Energy restructuring in Chapter 11, a $1.6 billion-revenue dairy cooperative achieving a comprehensive operational and financial turnaround, a $750 million-revenue global manufacturer of high-tech equipment achieving a sale to a strategic acquirer, a $1.2 billion-revenue industrial services company achieving a $30 million rescue loan and $180 million of incremental new capital investment, a $350 million-revenue provider of linen and laundry services to hospitals on its sale process and Chapter 11, a $600 million-revenue food company achieving an out-of-court restructuring, and a privately held specialty construction company achieving an amendment to a credit agreement.

Mr. Fleming earned a bachelor's degree in electrical and computer engineering and computer science and a master's degree in electrical and computer engineering from Duke University. He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor, a member of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, and a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
