Brian Rudelson is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Tax in Houston.

Mr. Rudelson advises companies on tax planning, compliance, provision and financial reporting matters. He has served clients in a variety of industries, including energy, manufacturing, banking, insurance, healthcare, construction, retail and technology. Mr. Rudelson brings significant experience working with private equity funds and their portfolio company investments.

Mr. Rudelson has experience advising multinational public, non-public, corporate and flow-through entities. He also advises individuals with federal, state and international income tax matters, including ASC 740, compliance services, financial reporting, tax planning, IRS and state audit support, and corporate tax department services.

Mr. Rudelson also has considerable experience in the tax treatment of fixed assets, including cost segregation studies. He is familiar with tax accounting software programs, including OneSource Tax Provision, GoSystems Tax RS and Sage FAS 500.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Rudelson worked at Deloitte Tax LLP in Houston, where he worked on federal and international tax matters, including income tax compliance and reporting.

Mr. Rudelson earned a BBA (concentration in accounting and finance) and a master's degree in accounting from Rhodes College in Memphis. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas and Tennessee.
