Brad Ward

Mr. Ward has a proven track record of enhancing PBM operational efficiency and effectiveness to drive cost savings, developing and implementing benefit plan designs and assisting with large-scale pharmacy benefit transitions across commercial and government lines of business. Most recently, he led the strategic planning and execution for a 20+ million member PBM migration in a Medicare and Medicaid operations advisory role. He drove integration execution across eligibility, benefits, clinical, network and FWA operations while ensuring seamless coordination with key stakeholders and maintaining data integrity within a complex health plan ecosystem.
Mr. Ward has played a key role in numerous transformation programs, including PBM migration advisory, planning and execution for health plans transitioning PBM services; operational cost take-out focused on PBM benefit plan administration, including configuration and claims validation testing; benefit operations sourcing strategy and execution for both clinical and non-clinical functions; and product advisory to develop an in-house benefit administration management solution.
Mr. Ward has also managed PBM core adjudication platform consolidation and membership migration; operational model design and advising on the sourcing strategy by function for a regional commercial plan; vendor assessment across pharmacy services KPIs, delivering recommendations for cost savings and oversight; and program management, supporting custom client self-service requirements for formulary configuration.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Ward served as a senior principal at Accenture. Previously, he held a leadership role at CVS Caremark, overseeing benefit plan implementation and maintenance for a $15+ billion annual revenue book of business in the employer segment.
Mr. Ward earned a BSBA from Oklahoma State University.
