Brad Howard is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in New York. With over two decades of consulting experience focused on human capital risk management, he has held positions in the pension risk space and consulted with C-suite executives and boards about HR matters.

Mr. Howard has supported large multinational carve-outs and was an advisor to a financial sponsor purchase of a business from a large global financial services firm. In addition, he has served in HR leadership roles on carve-outs from a multinational chemical corporation, multinational medical device company, pharmaceutical firms, and a consumer-packaged goods manufacturing company.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Howard led Deloitte’s Pension Risk Transfer Advisory Services and EY’s US Pension Risk practice.

Mr. Howard earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Kent State University. He is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries, fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and an enrolled actuary under ERISA.
