Barbara Ronconi is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Finance in Milan. With more than 20 years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance, Ms. Ronconi has advised on more than 50 transactions involving both listed and private companies across different sectors, with a broad focus on consumer, retail, and luxury.

Thanks to her local and international experience, Ms. Ronconi is well known for her strong track record in origination and execution of complex and cross-border transactions.

Ms. Ronconi’s notable assignments include: the sale of Naturalia Tantum to H.I.G. Capital; Unieuro’s acquisition of Covercare; Clessidra’s acquisition of Molino Nicoli; the sale of HSA Cosmetics to the Equity Club; the sale of Pal Zileri to Mayhoola for Investments; the sale of MESGO to the listed Swedish industrial group HEXPOL; the sale of Marval to Fondo Italiano d’Investimento; the sale of a minority stake in Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori (“Italo” high-speed trains) to Peninsula Capital; and Andera Partners’ investment in Pusterla 1880. She also worked on the listing of Ferretti Group, Dexelance and Gentili Mosconi.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Ronconi was at Equita, where she served as Managing Director—Head of Consumer, playing a crucial role in building the practice. Previously, she spent several years at GCA Altium and, before that, Credit Suisse, advising clients on landmark transactions. She began her career in investment banking at Lazard.

Ms. Ronconi earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration (financial economics, cum laude) from Bocconi University, Milan.
