Austin Wanland

Mr. Wanland has supported clients in numerous industries, but his primary areas of concentration are in consumer products, business services, media and entertainment, and industrial products and services. He has supported clients in financial due diligence and advisory engagements involving both public and private companies.
With more than 12 years of experience, Mr. Wanland’s buy-side and sell-side focus areas include providing quality of earnings, quality of net assets, and net working capital assessments. He also advises clients in carve-out situations as well as in negotiations of purchase and sale agreements and post-closing purchase price adjustments. In sell-side transactions, Mr. Wanland has extensive experience supporting management teams and target companies to maximize shareholder value during potential leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations.
Mr. Wanland has supported numerous private equity funds, including Littlejohn & Co, York Capital, Insignia Capital, and GHK Capital Partners.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Wanland spent three years in the Real Estate and Asset Management Audit practice at KPMG in New York. He primarily audited real estate and asset management funds of private equity-backed and institutional investors.
Mr. Wanland earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in accountancy, both from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the states of California and Illinois, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
