Ashutosh Satapathy is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Transformation in Bengaluru. Before that, Mr. Satapathy spent 10 years with McKinsey & Company, where he served as a Practice Expert. He led operational transformation and strategy for companies across India, Southeast Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America. He was also deeply involved in developing industry perspectives and go-to-market strategies focused on the Indian market for international players. Some of his notable projects include: an end-to-end transformation of an Indian long steel player, which delivered an impact of over 9 billion rupees ($105 million); a global market expansion strategy for a major commodity player in the Indian mining sector; and an end-to-end turnaround of a Southeast Asian government enterprise in a distressed situation, among others. 

Mr. Satapathy earned a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical and materials engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
