With more than 25 years of experience, Ms. Melin Jakobsson specializes in international and national capital markets transactions. She brings expertise in capital markets law, company law, corporate governance, risk and compliance and M&A. 

Ms. Melin Jakobsson brings extensive experience leading large and complex national and international IPOs, capital markets transactions, carve-outs, including operational and organizational preparations, governance, internal control, risk management and financial reporting. She has been a member of exit and IPO readiness PMOs of large- and mid-cap private equity backed companies. 

Additionally, Ms. Melin Jakobsson has advised board and management teams in listed and non-listed companies on governance, risk and compliance issues. She has also led national and international legal advisory teams in connection with capital structuring and capital market transactions, such as rights issues, MBOs and business carve-outs. Ms. Melin Jakobsson has worked across multiple sectors, including industrial manufacturing, business services, healthcare, consumer and private equity services.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Melin Jakobsson served with EY and KPMG for 17+ years and with Advokatfirman Delphi (Swedish law firm). She was Managing Partner for EY’s Nordic Capital Markets group and Managing Partner for KPMG’s Deal Advisory Capital Markets Group in Sweden. At KPMG, Ms. Melin Jakobsson, also served as a member of the board of directors. Furthermore, she has been Global Lead Partner for global corporates and part of EY’s and KPMG’s Global Capital Markets review teams.

Ms. Melin Jakobsson earned a master’s degree in law from Uppsala University. She has been part of the Swedish Nasdaq Listing Auditor’s team for 10+ years and has been engaged as capital markets specialist by the Swedish Institute for the Accountancy Profession, Accountancy Europe and the Centre for Business and Policy Studies.
