Andy Reid

Most notably at A&M, Mr. Reid co-directed a Saudi-based project to build a new government-led financial services business, delivering a comprehensive business plan and application package to the Saudi Central Bank for licensing and approval. He is currently using his relationships and industry expertise to help raise capital and secure strategic partners for the client. Mr. Reid was also involved in a number of financial services and private equity performance improvement projects.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Reid led the £212 million acquisition of a global payment company as the Global Head of Payments, serving on the Executive Committee and Group Board. Mr. Reid also served at Barclays as the Global Head of Non-Bank Financial Institution, where he was responsible for the Global Corporate Bank Coverage teams. Mr. Reid was also an active member of the Barclays Corporate Bank Executive Committee and chaired the Corporate and Investment Banking Large Exposures Committee for Lending. Mr. Reid managed several risk scenarios during his tenure in the Banks team. He was one of the leads during the financial crisis and also served in the deal team that purchased Lehman Brothers in 2008. Mr. Reid was instrumental in the turnaround and disposal of various businesses during his time at Barclays, with significant political and regulatory exposure.
Previously, Mr. Reid led J.P. Morgan’s European Funds business within the Treasury Services division, managing broker-dealers and large non-bank financial institutions with European subsidiaries. He was also one of the original members of the G20 team that designed and built CLS Bank. There, he was instrumental in the adoption of real-time (PvP) payments across 14 countries and 71 financial institutions through what has become one of the world’s critical financial infrastructures.
Mr. Reid earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and an MBA from Imperial College London.
