Andrew Monaco is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in Dallas. He has worked in a range of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, transportation and logistics, utilities, aerospace, and financial services/technology.

With more than 15 years of industry and consulting experience, Mr. Monaco has led enterprise-wide transformation projects, performed financial and operational assessments, directed post-merger integration, and implemented value capture frameworks across several programs.

Mr. Monaco’s notable experience includes leading the transformation management office of a global logistics provider, resulting in $1.5+ billion in value creation; defining commercial structure to drive pricing transformation for a $600 million industrial distribution company; directing an IT post-merger integration for a $16 billion manufacturing and distribution company (detailed plans to standardize processes, consolidate technology, and capture synergies); and serving as interim Chief of Staff to the CEO of a $130 million private equity company, resulting in 50% EBITDA improvement driven by improved sales effectiveness and selling, general, and administrative (SG&A) cost reduction.

Additionally, Mr. Monaco has managed sell-side due diligence for an $80 million oilfield services carve-out and the value capture framework for a $125 million cost reduction program across cost of sales and SG&A initiatives.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Monaco served in multiple roles with General Dynamics Mission Systems, including Program Manager of Operations, where he was responsible for Lean manufacturing operations, workflow management, and project finance.

Mr. Monaco earned bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering and mathematics from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, and an MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
