Andre Prasek is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations in Calgary. He specializes in economic loss quantification, business valuation, and forensic accounting, primarily within the realm of commercial litigation and arbitration.

With more than 18 years of dispute and investigation experience, Mr. Prasek has served as an expert witness for the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, the Court of King’s Bench of Manitoba, and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. He has also provided expertise in various private arbitral proceedings in Canada and the US. Mr. Prasek has worked with clients across various industries, including energy, mining and resources, power and utilities, construction, real estate, manufacturing, Indigenous and First Nations claims, technology, agriculture and commodities, financial services, transportation, consumer retail, tourism and hospitality, and cryptocurrency.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Prasek served as Partner at Deloitte, where he led the Western Canadian Disputes and Investigations practice.

Mr. Prasek earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Calgary. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Business Valuator, Accredited in Business Valuation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
