Amy Calcutt

Ms. Calcutt has more than 25 years of experience across strategy consulting and industry leadership roles. Her early areas of focus were across light industrials, FMCG, and pharmaceuticals, including efficiency/cost-out programs at global consumer brands and post-merger integrations (merging R&D functions, redesigning portfolio pipeline methodologies, and rationalizing facilities), and sales performance improvement for global pharmaceutical companies. Her consulting focus later shifted to mining and energy. Notable assignments include leading a global processing improvement program across commodities and designing a new energy/renewables strategy for a regional utility.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Calcutt was General Manager of Productivity and Contractor Management at Rio Tinto Iron Ore (RTIO). Her responsibilities included full potential diagnostics of iron ore assets, oversight of RTIO’s productivity program, and implementation of contractor management systems and processes to improve financial and safety outcomes. Before this, she worked at Horizon Power, a regional energy utility, where she focused on renewable solutions.
Ms. Calcutt began her career at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). She worked across BCG’s Australian and European offices over 18 years in various industries, including industrials, retail, pharmaceutical, mining, and energy. She was one of the members of the Founding Leadership team of the BCG Perth office.
Ms. Calcutt earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering (materials, honors) and science (chemistry and biochemistry) from the University of Western Australia and an MBA from INSEAD.
