Amine Belaicha

Most recently at A&M, Mr. Belaicha has been involved in a full headquarter transformation project for a leading European bank, implementing a zero-base budget approach and focusing on the delivery of the finance and strategy workstream (450 FTEs, € 90 million cost base). The project delivered 15 percent of validated savings out of à ~€ 500 million cost base.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Belaicha independently served on several turnaround and PMI projects in Europe and North Africa, mainly for family businesses and PE-invested companies in the banking, insurance, PayTV, aerospace and defence, and dairy manufacturing.
Mr. Belaicha began his career as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in Paris, where he delivered over 15 projects in a diversified range of industries. Most notably, he served in major domestic and cross-border post-merger integration programmes in financial services and manufacturing. He was also Vice President for two and half years at Swicorp Private Equity, where he covered Maghreb countries in deal sourcing, deal execution and portfolio management. He secured the first exit of the managed portfolio and brought several opportunities to final term sheet stage, while coordinating a sector-specific regional deal sourcing initiative in the FMCG industry. Mr. Belaicha also spent one year at French PayTV company Canal Plus, setting up a new business unit in the Maghreb region.
Since 2010, Mr. Belaicha has been a regular lecturer at the HEC Paris Business School, where he teaches graduate students on strategy and investment classes within the North Africa and the Middle-East regions.
Mr Belaicha earned a master of science degree from HEC Paris Grande Ecole and is a 2012 Yale University Greenberg World Fellow. He is also an Oxford SAID Business School executive education graduate and an Archbishop Desmond Tutu Fellow. Mr. Belaicha is fluent in French, Arabic, English and Italian.
