Mr. Norniella's expertise includes various aspects of deal advisory, including buy-and sell-side due diligence, carve-out transactions, accounting policy formulation, support for purchase price adjustments, operational optimisation, and oversight of post-merger integration projects. He has worked with clients across the financial services sector, including banking, asset management, insurance (life and non-life), payments, fintech, and non-core banking businesses.

Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Mr. Norniella served as an Assistant Director at Deloitte, where he was part of the financial services division within the transaction advisory team. While there, he spent three years with the London team on secondment. Previously, Mr. Norniella held positions at BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank.

Mr. Norniella earned a joint bachelor's degree in finance and marketing from Universidad Europea de Madrid. He also earned a degree from INSEAD in business strategy and financial performance.
