Alan Pender

With more than 10 years of financial and operational experience, Mr. Pender helps energy clients improve financial performance and solve complex problems related to evolving and challenging market dynamics.
Mr. Pender works with management teams and other stakeholders to identify and drive financial improvements across margin enhancement and capital efficiencies in restructuring and corporate transformation settings. He brings experience across the transaction lifecycle, including buy-side diligence, synergy identification, integration planning and integration and business plan development for recapitalizations.
Additionally, Mr. Pender brings his broad experience, industry network and deep market intel to identify structural financial improvement opportunities that expedite value realization across OpEx, G&A, revenue uplifts, working capital and capital investments. He has helped numerous clients navigate through complex transformations, assisting them in implementing initiatives and deploying management tools to sustain improvements.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Pender was a Manager in KPMG’s Energy Strategy group, working with corporate transformations and M&A-related services.
Mr. Pender earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas Tech University.
