Abhijit Ghosh

Mr. Ghosh’s primary focus is advising and assisting various multinational corporations, large corporates, SMEs, family offices, and global not-for-profit organizations as they expand their operations in APAC, using Singapore as a hub. He has served clients across various industries, including pharma/medtech, high-tech, telcos, FMCG, industrial products, and private equity houses. He played a key role in assisting various American, European, and Asian corporate houses and nongovernmental organizations with setting up their international headquarters in Asia.
Mr. Ghosh maintains close working relationships with economic development agencies in various countries in Southeast Asia. He also helps clients in their discussions/negotiations for relevant government support. Mr. Ghosh is a regular speaker on business and tax issues in the media and other public forums and contributes to thought leadership articles for various journals and newspapers. He also authored the IP chapter of The Law & Practice of Singapore Income Tax (one of the best tax reference books in Singapore).
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Ghosh spent 28 years with PWC Singapore, where he most recently served as Tax Market Leader and Senior Tax Partner. Mr. Ghosh earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce (first class) from St Xavier’s College, Kolkata, India. He is a Chartered Accountant and an Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax) with the Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals. He also completed an executive MBA course on e-commerce at the University of Virginia’s Darden Business School.
Mr. Ghosh is a Board Member of World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Singapore and Vice Chairman of the Board for the Teaching and Testing of South Asian Languages (BTTSAL, an entity under Singapore’s Ministry of Education). He is also the Chairman and a Board Member of Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS). He has also been actively involved in teaching at Tax Academy Singapore over the past 10 years.
