Harold McDonald

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. McDonald spent several years with a regional revenue cycle and technology outsourcing company, where he most recently served as Senior Director. He managed $700 million in cash collections for the company’s clients focused on ambulatory services. The clients ranged from large integrated community-based networks to multi-site physician enterprises. As part of the outsourcing offering, he integrated both onshore and offshore resources to provide the most cost-efficient services.
Previously, Mr. McDonald worked with a 400-member community-based physician network of an integrated healthcare system, directing the revenue cycle and managing care contracting operations. The group experienced a 300 percent increase in providers; maintained a 97 percent net realization rate; and held the percentage of accounts receivable over 90 days to under 15 percent. Before that, Mr. McDonald managed the revenue cycle services for the physician and clinic network of a large safety net health care system, which included women’s health, pediatrics, cardiology, infectious disease, family medicine, dental and mental health services.
Mr. McDonald earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA (concentration in finance and health services management) from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
