Dennis Stogsdill

With more than 20 years of financial restructuring and management consulting experience, Mr. Stogsdill has been involved in all aspects of the reorganization process including: the development and negotiation of complex capital structure solutions, developing and evaluating strategic business plans, implementing liquidity conservation and monitoring strategies, and advising on numerous out-of-court and Chapter 11 proceedings. He also has extensive experience in recapitalization strategies, mergers and acquisitions, valuations, and in the development and negotiation of Plans of Reorganization.
Some of Mr. Stogsdill's notable advisory assignments have included: Revel Hotel & Casino, Fresh & Easy Markets, Mark IV, McClatchy, Lee Enterprises, Oriental Trading, Oneida, Calpine, Star Gas Partners, Exide Technologies, Samsonite, DS Waters, Aladdin Gaming, Wellman, Sun Healthcare, Rent-Way, Donnkenny, GEO Specialty Chemicals, Cendant and Video Update. He has also advised numerous private clients in out-of-court workouts and restructurings, which have often included the divestiture of major assets.
With respect to valuation, Mr. Stogsdill has been qualified as an expert witness in U.S. Bankruptcy Court and is recognized as an Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA) from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), and has a Certification in Distressed Business Valuation (CDBV) from the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors (AIRA).
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Stogsdill was with a boutique investment bank, where he assisted in the formation of its restructuring practice. He also worked for the corporate restructuring group of a Big Five firm and for a management/strategic consulting firm.
Mr. Stogsdill earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Rutgers University. He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and a member of the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors, American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association.
