Eddie Gonzales
With more than 25 years of consulting and industry experience, Mr. Gonzales advises C-suite executives and boards across the Americas, Europe and Asia. He works spans media and entertainment, software, SaaS, cloud and AI ecosystems, digital platforms, subscription businesses and content-driven models.
Mr. Gonzales has led multi-year strategy and transformation programs for software, media and digital platform companies. He has shaped customer, subscription and content economics strategies for connected-vehicle and streaming businesses, and supported transactions through diligence, synergy analysis, integration design and joint venture strategy. He also served as Chief Strategy Officer for Sprint Business IoT (now part of T-Mobile), where he led strategy, commercialization, operating model and integration readiness priorities during a major industry merger.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Gonzales spent 18 years with Accenture Strategy, where he most recently served as a Managing Director focused on software, platforms, ecosystems and media. He led Accenture’s Northeast Software & Platforms industry business, growing it from an emerging portfolio into a multi-hundred-million-dollar business. He also spent nearly a decade based in the Bay Area advising software, cloud, media and digital platform clients on growth, modernization and market expansion.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Gonzales held finance and strategy roles at Warner Music Group and Sony Music, working across frontline, catalog and Latin music labels, including RCA, RCA Victor, J Records, Arista Records, BMG and Sony Latin. This experience gives him a practical foundation in recorded music economics, label operations, content monetization and the industry’s shift from physical and digital distribution to streaming and platform-led business models.
Mr. Gonzales earned an MBA in Strategy, Corporate Finance and Entertainment, Media and Technology from New York University’s Stern School of Business, where he also earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Information Systems. A son of Peruvian immigrants, he is active in inclusion, mentorship and community-building initiatives.
