Maaike Muit
Ms. Muit advises multinational organizations on global mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and split-offs. Her areas of concentration include post-merger integration, holding company restructuring, cash repatriation planning, and European tax reform planning (including Pillar Two), with a specific focus on the EMEA region. She has advised on some of the largest transactions in the market, overseeing multidimensional workstreams across jurisdictions and industries ranging from $2 billion to $80 billion in enterprise value. Ms. Muit is recognized for her expertise in transactions involving heightened complexity, accelerated timelines, and significant cross-border considerations.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Muit worked at EY, where she served as a Managing Director in the International Tax and Transaction Services practice.
Ms. Muit earned a master’s degree in tax law from the Vrije University in Amsterdam and a master’s degree in corporate law at the University of Amsterdam.
