Willy van Exel
Ms. van Exel is an EMEA subject matter specialist, focusing on global mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and split-offs, including post-merger integration, holding company restructuring, operational and supply chain planning, and cash repatriation planning. She is uniquely experienced in managing the (often competing) priorities of a broad range of transaction stakeholders, including third-party advisors and counsel, clients’ internal business functions, and the C-suite. Ms. van Exel’s cross-functional, collaborative approach helps manage tax and business risk and ensures smooth implementation.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. van Exel spent 15 years with EY’s International Tax and Transaction Services practice, where she worked on some of the largest and most complex transactions in the market.
Ms. van Exel earned a bachelor’s degree in tax law from Utrecht University and a master’s degree in international and European tax law from the University of Amsterdam. She is fluent in Dutch and English.
