Brett Baldwin is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Infrastructure & Capital Projects in Africa. With more than 20 years of experience, he specializes in transforming organizations by improving safety or operational performance and building capabilities. His primary areas of concentration are throughput improvement, cost reduction, safety improvement, capability development, and operational readiness.

With more than 20 years of transformation experience, Mr. Baldwin has helped mining organizations to build internal capabilities to transform to high-potential organizations in regard to both operational and safety performance.

Mr. Baldwin’s notable assignments include improving the safety performance of a diamond mine, developing a safety improvement roadmap for a manufacturing company, rolling out a supervisor development program at a coal mining company, and implementing production performance improvements at an underground coal mine. Mr. Baldwin has worked with clients across various industries, primarily in mining, as well as in heavy industry and manufacturing. 

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Baldwin was Transformation Director at Gold Fields, where he facilitated the transition of the organization to a new operating model, managed process mapping of key processes, and clearly defined the roles and responsibilities within the new structure.
