Asela Wijesiri
Mr. Wijesiri specializes in government contracting, regulatory compliance, and financial risk management. His primary areas of concentration are building compliant contractor business systems, architecting competitive indirect rate structures, and optimizing accounting and pricing strategies to improve cost recovery and operational performance.
With more than 20 years of advisory experience, Mr. Wijesiri has a proven track record of helping organizations navigate complex federal requirements across the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Office of Management and Budget Circulars. He advises organizations on DFARS business systems compliance; Defense Contract Audit Agency and Defense Contract Management Agency audit readiness; litigation and disputes; M&A due diligence and integration; and high-stakes cost proposal development. He has supported leading government contractors across industries including aerospace and defense, construction, engineering, healthcare, manufacturing, and professional services.
A transformation leader, Mr. Wijesiri has delivered measurable efficiency gains through enterprise resource planning (ERP) modernization and business process reengineering, while guiding boards, audit committees, and C-suite executives through multinational investigations, large-scale compliance programs, and enterprise governance and risk-management initiatives. He is known as a trusted partner who brings clarity, rigor, and strategic foresight to the most complex regulatory and operational challenges.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Wijesiri spent almost five years with Highspring (formally known as MorganFranklin Consulting, a Vaco company), where he most recently served as Partner and specialized in government contract advisory.
Mr. Wijesiri earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Slippery Rock University, Pennsylvania.
