Mr. Soni has more than 17 years of deal experience across North America, Europe, and Asia in roles across value creation advisory, corporate development and M&A, private equity, and investment banking.

Notably, Mr. Soni assists private equity and corporate clients with market assessments and commercial due diligence, growth strategy, and analytics-led value creation. His focus is on capital-intensive sectors such as industrial manufacturing, engineering and construction, and industrial services.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Soni spent 10 years in the Deal Advisory practices of PwC Canada and KPMG India, where he led 50+ buy- and sell-side commercial diligences and multiple corporate strategy projects. He has also led strategy and M&A for a KKR-backed automotive components player in Europe, spearheading multiple bolt-on transactions and adding over $500 million to the group’s revenue. Prior to this, Mr. Soni held roles in investment banking in the UK.

Mr. Soni earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Panjab University, Chandigarh, and an MBA from Management Development Institute Gurgaon (MDI Gurgaon), a top-five business school in India. He also volunteers with charities such as Covenant House and sits on the Canadian Club Toronto fellows council.
