Mr. Hattori’s primary areas of focus are M&A (acquisition thought exit) structuring, reorganization, due diligence, carve-out, post-merger integration, and tax modeling. His notable assignments include a variety of M&A transactions conducted by private equity funds with various industries. He has contributed to clients’ growth and value increase.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hattori worked with EY and Deloitte in Tokyo (including overseas assignments in New York), where he notably served as Partner. In addition, he was a Vice President at Barclays and managed internal tax matters including tax audit defense, transfer pricing, and principal investments.

Mr. Hattori has contributed technical articles on tax and given lectures for internal/external tax seminars.
