Anthony Porcaro
With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Mr. Porcaro has deep expertise in taxation of both domestic and international financial institutions operating in the US. He also has vast experience in accounting for income taxes, state and local taxation, withholding tax and information reporting matters, transfer pricing, and tax controversy.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Porcaro spent 30 years with Credit Suisse and UBS in New York. He most recently served as America’s Director of Taxes for Credit Suisse. In that capacity, he was responsible for all aspects of taxation for the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and the rest of Latin America. Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Porcaro was a tax consultant for PwC.
Mr. Porcaro earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Seton Hall University, a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law, and an LLM in taxation from New York University School of Law. Mr. Porcaro is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association (Tax Section), and the American Bar Association (Tax Section). He is a long-time member of the tax committee of the Institute of International Bankers and the Wall Street Tax Association. In 2011, Mr. Porcaro was ordained a Permanent Deacon with service to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark, New Jersey and is currently assigned to the Parish of St. Thérèse of Lisieux in Cresskill, New Jersey.
