Jon Hamblett
Mr. Hamblett specializes in enhancing organization efficiency for clients through strategy execution. He works with organizations to bridge the gap between strategy formulation and day-to-day execution, helping to clarify priorities, design structures which support the achievement of objectives, describe the work that needs to be done down to a job level, align resources, build the capabilities required to sustain long-term success, and align reward strategy with business goals to drive performance, workforce engagement, and long-term value.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Hamblett has supported corporate and private equity clients across sectors. With deep expertise in the financial services, industrial, and sports sectors, he has experience of leading major global transformation projects. Notable projects include: the design and delivery of a culture change program to support a global elevator manufacturing business through its digital transformation, the design and implementation of a career architecture for a Big Four management consultancy to support the establishment of its talent marketplace; and the restructure of a Big Six English Premier League football club. Mr. Hamblett is considered a global expert in the design of job and career architectures. His work in this area enables clients to enhance business and people processes around the employee life cycle, lay the foundations for transformation to a skills-based organization, support human capital management software implementation, and underpin reward frameworks.
Before joining A&M, Jon spent 12 years at a global consultancy, where he led the company's organization strategy practice for the U.K. and Irish market. The practice of over 60 consultants delivered a range of services, including top team performance, organization design and analytics, work and career architecture, people strategy and performance, and culture, change and communications.
Mr. Hamblett earned an LLB (with honors) and a postgraduate diploma in legal practice from the University of Sheffield. He qualified as a lawyer in 2007 and practiced law until he moved into consulting in 2013.
