Mr. Mangelsen brings more than 15 years of accounting and financial analysis experience in buy-side, sell-side and post-transaction matters for both private equity firms and strategic buyers. He has experience across a range of industries, including general manufacturing and distribution, technology, media, and energy.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Mangelsen was a Senior Consultant with Ernst & Young's Transaction Advisory Services group, where he provided financial due diligence services to private equity firms engaged in leveraged buy-outs and recapitalizations ranging from $50 million to $10 billion. He has advised clients such as Blackstone Capital Partners, Madison Dearborn Partners, Court Square Capital Partners (formerly CVC) and Code, Hennessey and Simmons.

Mr. Mangelsen earned a bachelor's degree in finance (concentration in accountancy) from the University of Iowa and an MBA (concentration in finance, accounting and strategic management) from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Illinois.
