Aaron Lam

Prior to joining A&M Tax, Mr. Lam was a US Tax Partner for a Big Four firm serving large wealth asset management clients (i.e., venture capital funds, real estate funds, private equity funds, credit funds, and ultra-high net worth family offices). Mr. Lam brings a deep knowledge of the investment fund industry, balancing effective tax solutions against the commercial needs of his clients.
Mr. Lam started his career with one of the Big Four accounting firms in New York, specializing in Real Estate and US M&A tax. He then served as an Executive Director with Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong, providing in-house tax counsel covering global asset management investment funds on the full spectrum of US tax issues, such as M&A tax, portfolio company group restructurings, transfer pricing, tax compliance, and tax dispute management.
Mr. Lam graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee with a master's degree in accounting. Mr. Lam was formerly an active board member of the Tax Executives Institute (TEI) and a member of Capital Markets Tax Committee (CMTC). He is a Certified Public Accountant in the US.
