Maximiliano Turelli is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Finance in Milan. He specializes in M&A advisory, with a focus on supporting mid-market transactions for private equity funds, family-owned businesses, and corporate clients. His primary areas of concentration are cross-border M&A, financial sponsor coverage, and industrial sector advisory.

With more than 20 years of corporate finance experience, Mr. Turelli has advised on over 50 M&A transactions across a wide range of sectors, including industrials, packaging, business services, and food. He is known for his senior-led execution style and for delivering high-impact results in complex and competitive processes.

Mr. Turelli’s notable assignments include advising Progressio on the sale of Garda Plast and Valgroup, advising Dentressangle on the acquisition of Dietopack srl, advising Clessidra Group on the acquisition of Everton Spa, advising Cobepa on its investment in SALICE, and advising the shareholders of Negri Bossi on the sale to NISSEI PLASTIC INDUSTRIAL, a listed Japanese group. Most notably, he led sponsor and corporate coverage at Banca Akros, playing a key role in the growth of its M&A franchise.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Turelli held senior positions at Banca Akros, Equita Group, and K Finance/Clairfield International. He began his career in investment banking at UniCredit Banca Mobiliare (UBM), where he was involved in the origination and execution of M&A and equity capital market transactions.

Mr. Turelli earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration (with highest honors) from Università Carlo Cattaneo (LIUC) in Castellanza. An Italian national, he is fluent in Italian and English.
