Seth Ciabotti is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Healthcare in New York. He is a nationally recognized healthcare executive with over two decades of leadership experience driving transformative change across large, complex health systems and academic medical centers.

Mr. Ciabotti is an expert in long-range strategy, M&A execution, and operational excellence. He brings deep experience in revenue turnaround, infrastructure modernization, and health system innovation. Mr. Ciabotti serves on multiple healthcare and innovation boards and advises organizations on digital transformation and emerging care models.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Ciabotti served as CEO of MSU Health Care, where he led the clinical enterprise’s transformation into a statewide, modern healthcare delivery organization. Under his leadership, MSU Health Care achieved profitability within three years, launched numerous strategic joint ventures, and forged groundbreaking public–private partnerships to enhance digital health, patient access, and service line expansion.

Mr. Ciabotti also held senior leadership roles at Mount Sinai Health System, where he was instrumental in expanding ambulatory operations, launching award-winning access centers, and integrating digital strategies across the network. He also played a pivotal role in the growth of Trinity Health’s physician enterprise in New York.

Mr. Ciabotti earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University at Albany and a master’s degree in health administration from Hofstra University. He was named one of the “101 Academic Medical Center CEOs to Know” in 2023 and “Great Leaders in Healthcare” in 2025 by Becker’s Hospital Review.
