With more than 27 years of experience in managing and advising businesses, Mr. Bennett has significant expertise in leading public and private transactions in financial services, infrastructure, energy, and real estate. He has lived and worked in Sydney, London, Dubai, and Singapore.
Mr. Bennett’s primary areas of concentration are buy-side and sell-side M&A, initial public offerings (IPOs), restructurings, and carve-outs. He is also a thought leader in the securitization and sovereign wealth sectors.
Mr. Bennett’s notable assignments include acting for General Electric on the disposal of GE Capital, acting for the Public Investment Fund on its disposal of the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), and leading the global tax reporting accountant work for Aramco on its IPO.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Bennett was a partner with EY and held a number of senior roles, including leading the Transaction Tax practice across Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa.
Mr. Bennett earned a bachelor’s degree in law and a bachelor’s degree in commerce. He is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
