Philippe Salès

Mr. Salès focuses on damages assessments and has been involved in matters before arbitral institutions including the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), and under United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) tribunals, as well as the U.K. High Court and French commercial courts. He has acted as a party-appointed expert on several occasions.
Mr. Salès’ expertise spans a wide array of industries, including oil and gas, power generation, mining, construction, telecommunications, petrochemicals, hospitality and leisure management, and international distribution agreements, with a focus on the EMEA region and Latin America.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Salès spent over five years with FTI Consulting in Paris where he focused on international commercial and investment-state disputes.
Mr. Salès earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Paris Dauphine University, as well as master’s degrees in economics from McGill University in Montreal and in corporate finance from SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan. He is a Chartered Accountant, as well as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Charterholder). Mr. Salès is fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Italian.
