Bob Hogan is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in New York. He focuses on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting and finance operations for our clients.

With more than 30 years of management consulting experience, Mr. Hogan helps clients develop and execute program vision and strategy for technology-enabled finance and accounting transformations. He works with emerging companies as well as closely held and global public enterprises in a variety of industries.

Mr. Hogan has significant experience leading target operating model-based transformation programs. Notably, he led a global finance and accounting transformation program for a multinational company, achieving efficiency and effectiveness gains through standardizing and optimizing disparate and antiquated operations.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hogan spent 12 years as a Partner with KPMG working in the Finance Transformation practice, where he held various leadership positions, including East Regional Leader and Lead Account Partner for several large global clients. Before that, he was a Partner with Deloitte Consulting, where he worked for over two decades, focusing on improving client operations through technology-enabled finance transformations.

Mr. Hogan earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Villanova University. In addition, he was selected for and attended strategic firm leadership programs, including the KPMG Lead Partner Academy at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and the Deloitte Executive Leadership and Development Program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
