Rohan Suppal is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Global Transaction Advisory Group in Chicago. He specializes in providing buy- and sell-side advisory services within the generalist industry vertical.

Mr. Suppal brings over 13 years of experience advising both private equity and corporate clients across a range of sectors, including manufacturing, consumer, construction, distribution, business services, trucking, and logistics. 

Mr. Suppal has led several transformative M&A engagements for corporate and PE clients, where he collaborated across various functions. Mr. Suppal’s area of expertise includes identifying, quantifying, structuring, and negotiating items directly impacting purchase price (e.g., quality of earnings adjustments, indebtedness, working capital, and earn-outs), analyzing KPIs, and performing contract reviews. Additionally, Mr. Suppal’s expertise includes quantifying and analyzing pro forma adjustments, analyzing synergies, and performing sensitivity analyses to corroborate transaction value drivers. 

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Suppal spent over two years at Equity Group Investments (EGI), where he supported the Investment team in evaluating investment opportunities across various workstreams (e.g., finance, tax, legal, financing, insurance, and HR). He also supported the Chief Financial Officers of EGI’s portfolio companies in driving various finance and accounting value creation initiatives. Before that, Mr. Suppal spent nearly seven years at EY performing transaction advisory services for strategic and private equity clients and a further three years in the Audit practice.

Mr. Suppal earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Illinois.
