With nearly two decades of forensic accounting experience, Mr. Nicklin specialises in quantum expert witness work in litigation and arbitration and is distinctively qualified in the North Asia dispute support market, having given evidence in both English and Mandarin. Mr. Nicklin has a noteworthy engagement history spanning the hotel and tourism, automotive and pharmaceutical/medical device sectors focusing on complex valuation and quantum issues.

Recognised for his clarity in thought and results-driven approach, Mr. Nicklin has served as an expert witness in multi-million-dollar disputes, including before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). Most recently, he has provided expert testimony and supported in high-stakes disputes under Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) rules for multiple sector China-based clients.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Nicklin served as a Director with Accuracy in Beijing, where he led the Greater China Disputes team. Prior to this, Mr. Nicklin worked with EY in their Dispute Resolution team.
Mr. Nicklin earned a bachelor’s degree in Ecology from University College London (UCL). Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, he is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
