Liang Quan is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Performance Improvement North Asia in Shanghai. Mr. Quan has worked with clients across a range of sectors, including industrial product and consumer product industries. Mr. Quan is experienced in and passionate about tangible financial value creation and long-term client partnership.

Mr. Quan’s notable engagements include: improving a global top cosmetics brand’s supply chain management and performance; helping a leading Chinese amino acid producer raise production productivity and eliminate sales margin leakage; reducing procurement cost for a leading elevator and escalator maker; optimizing the operating model and cutting SG&A cost for an industrial product group; and co-building new business with a leading Chinese industrial paper maker.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Quan worked at Roland Berger and McKinsey & Company, serving clients on operational and strategic topics.

Mr. Quan earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Fudan University in Shanghai. He is a native Mandarin speaker and is fluent in English.
