He is a regular speaker at leading airline industry conferences and frequently leads frequently leads corporate workshops on financial performance, competitive positioning, and shareholder value creation, focusing on identifying areas of untapped value and strategic risk for corporate management teams.
Neil’s notable assignments include:
- Airline business plan formulation, route profitability, fleet investment and credit risk assessment
- ODD, CDD, and FDD in airline M&A
- Advised the management teams of leading European and North American airlines on financial strategy and investor relations
- Board advisory and Audit & Risk Committee membership at Oman Air
- Leading 10 IPO processes, encompassing a wide range of business models across the transport and infrastructure sectors
Before joining A&M, Neil spent 13 years at Credit Suisse, serving as Head of European Transport and Global Transport Equity Research. During his tenure, he was consistently ranked among the leading transport sector analysts in Europe and ranked amongst the top three positions in the Institutional Investor Survey in 2021. He has also served as a Senior Advisor to McKinsey’s Transport, Logistics & Infrastructure, Investor Relations, and CFO Immersion practices, advising clients across Europe and North America. His prior roles also include serving as Head of Credit Risk EMEA at US aircraft lessor CIT Aerospace.
Neil earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Dublin City University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland (FCA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
