Misbah Uddin

With more than 22 years of experience advising the public and private sector on project viability, procurement and transactions, Mr. Uddin has worked with clients across the capital project and infrastructure deal lifecycle, both globally and across all sectors of infrastructure. His experience on both sides of the fence helps him recognize and understand the critical commercial and financial considerations and challenges in private sector participation deals.
Mr. Uddin’s notable clients include the EBRD, Department for Transport (U.K.), Mubadala, World Bank Group, National Center for Privatization & PPP (NCP), Transport for London, Network Rail, National Highways, Dubai Roads & Transport Authority, Abu Dhabi DoT, Abu Dhabi Ports Company, Etihad Rail, Saudi Civil Aviation Authority (GACA), QatarEnergy, Abu Dhabi Airports Company, RWE, National Express, TAQA, Bombardier, RATP, and other private sector infrastructure investors and operators.
Many of his roles have involved leading multidisciplinary teams, providing financial, legal, and technical advice.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Uddin was a leader in Ankura, Navigant, and PwC’s Capital Projects and Infrastructure practices. He spent nearly five years based in the UAE serving clients across the Middle East region. Mr. Uddin has also worked for Booz Allen Hamilton.
Mr Uddin earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and management and a master’s degree in information systems and technology. Who’s Who Legal named him a recommended expert in the transportation sector and described him as receiving “high praise for his breadth of experience in high-value transportation projects pertaining to railways, airports and highways.”
