Mack Brown
With more than 15 years of operations and leadership experience, Mr. Brown has led supply chain improvements across a range of industries, including manufacturing, heavy equipment, electrical distribution, electronics, consumer products, healthcare products, retail, and automotive segments.
Mr. Brown’s notable assignments include: driving performance improvement for a nutraceutical manufacturer; leading carve-out planning for a healthcare products business; serving as project lead for lean manufacturing and automation initiatives; acting as interim Vice President of Operations for a contract chemicals manufacturer; and leading a footprint and plant optimization assessment across 26 global locations.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Brown served as Profit & Loss Leader for Advanced Technology Services’ Industrial Parts division. In this role, he drove revenue growth of $29 million, generated EBITDA improvement of 4.2 percentage points, and executed a product-line rationalization strategy that included the consolidation of multiple service centers.
Mr. Brown spent the first eight years of his career in roles of increasing responsibility within the Energy, Power Generation, and Industrial Solutions divisions at General Electric (GE). This included completing GE’s two-year Operations Management Leadership Program.
Mr. Brown earned bachelor’s degrees in aeronautical and mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a master’s in supply chain from Pennsylvania State University, and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
