Winston Chan is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Tax in Los Angeles. He brings more than 10 years of experience assisting clients with M&A transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, recapitalizations, and in and out of court restructurings.
Mr. Chan provides a variety of tax services for clients including due diligence, structuring, tax attribute profiling, cash tax forecasting and transaction cost analysis. He has worked with clients across various industries, including media, tech, healthcare, private equity and consumer goods.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Chan spent 10 years in Transaction Tax Advisory at Ernst & Young LLP in Los Angeles, serving most recently as a Senior Manager.
Mr. Chan earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley and a J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. He is a licensed attorney and a member of the California State Bar.
