Paul Jackman
Mr. Jackman leverages his military operations background, business acumen, and management style to deliver bottom-line results. He specializes in IT strategy, Chief Information Officer (CIO) support, digital transformation, IT cost optimization, program/project turnaround, M&A, and e-commerce. He leads multimillion-dollar projects in the federal and state government, oil and gas, renewable energy, utilities, aerospace and defense, financial services, telecommunications, and manufacturing sectors.
Mr. Jackman’s notable assignments include developing a strategy and improvement initiative for the Department of Defense, managing a time-reporting enhancement project for a large-scale utility operator impacting 3,800+ employees, and serving as Chief of Staff for the CIO of a 14,000+ person technology team within a federally regulated financial services company. Previously, he also: developed the digital strategy for a $3 billion 100-year-old company and established a private equity backed spin-off company for 300+ employees; developed the IT strategy and organization design for a $7 billion manufacturing company; launched an enterprise asset management solution for a $2 billion client managing 1,500+ assets in five countries; and transformed IT services for a company with 2,500+ employees, implementing a new service desk solution.
Before joining A&M, Mr. Jackman consulted with Booz Allen Hamilton, where he supported NASA’s $30 billion Orion Project, developing a multirole, manned space capsule for missions to the International Space Station, the Moon, and Mars. He coordinated its preliminary design review of technical documentation by NASA’s engineers to identify, document, and resolve key project design issues.
While in the US Air Force, Mr. Jackman served as a Satellite Communications Engineer, National Security Agency Senior Operations Officer, Flight Commander, Cybersecurity Division Chief, MQ-1B Predator Senior Mission Intelligence Coordinator, Director of Air Intelligence, and Director of Joint Intelligence.
Mr. Jackman earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering (cum laude) from Texas A&M University and an MBA (Jones Scholar) from Rice University. He serves as a Mission Support Group, Deputy Commander in the Texas Air National Guard.
