Joel David

With more than 17 years of experience, Mr. David has provided leadership for $100+ billion CAD in strategic investments, working with corporate boards and sponsors to plan, finance and successfully deliver complex, high-profile projects.
Mr. David brings an extensive background in program management and project execution, including coordinating multidisciplinary teams under diverse delivery models, such as PPP, alliances, joint ventures and traditional contracts. He excels at building strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, indigenous groups and regulatory bodies, ensuring the trust and support needed for project success.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. David provided leadership to consulting, deal and technical advisory practices. Most recently, he was a Principal with Mott MacDonald. Before that, he served as the National Lead for Gateway Infrastructure with KPMG’s Global Infrastructure Advisory practice. In these roles, he provided senior oversight and direction on high-profile initiatives across Canada's strategic gateways and trade and transit corridors.
Mr. David earned a bachelor’s degree in social science from the University of Calgary and a master’s degree in business and major program management from the University of Oxford. He is a Certified Project Management Professional.
