Marco Valentini

Mr. Valentini is highly experienced in grocery and food retail across category management, buying/procurement, own brands, pricing/promo, operations, organization, strategy, M&A, concept development, localization and e-commerce. He also has significant project experience in consumer goods, fashion, luxury and travel.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Valentini was a Senior Partner and Managing Director with BCG, working in four offices (Milan, Melbourne, New Jersey, and Miami). During his 20 years there, he held leadership roles across recruiting, product development, BCG’s Global Retail Leadership team and BCG Transform (transformation and turnaround unit).
Mr. Valentini earned an MBA from SDA Bocconi (Milan) and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Genoa. He has been a lecturer in strategic marketing at the University of Genoa. Mr. Valentini is a member of the board of directors of Nicklaus’ Miami Children Hospital, supporting various strategic initiatives and its finance committee.
