Andrew Ciriello is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Restructuring in New York. He specializes in distressed situations, including in- and out-of-court restructurings and operational turnarounds. His primary areas of concentration include cash flow forecasting, business plan development and balance sheet optimization.

With more than 15 years of experience, Mr. Ciriello has advised clients in both healthy and distressed situations, including capital raising, M&A and restructuring transactions. 

Mr. Ciriello’s Chapter 11 assignments include advising Celsius Network, Extraction Oil & Gas, Remington Outdoor, the Diocese of Rockville Centre and Boart Longyear (Chapter 15). He has also advised the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, an offshore oil and gas company, a healthcare staffing business, a roadway maintenance company, a digital advertising business and a public electric and water utility outside of court.

Furthermore, Mr. Ciriello has advised the creditors of several notable companies that have restructured through Chapter 11 proceedings, including Energy Future Holdings, CORE Media and CGG SA.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Ciriello was an investment banker in Millstein & Co.’s restructuring group and in the Financial Institutions groups of Macquarie Capital and FBR Capital Markets.

Mr. Ciriello earned a BSBA from Georgetown University. He is a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor.
