H. Thomas (Tom) Wagner, Jr.

With more than 38 years of public accounting experience, Mr. Wagner has experience across a range of industries and emphases, including aviation, automotive, family office, health care, high-net-worth, IT, marine, private equity, professional athletes and sports teams, real estate and serial entrepreneurs.
Mr. Wagner also has more than 20 years of aviation tax experience and has assisted clients in the purchase, sale, and operation of scores of aircraft used in commercial and non-commercial use. He also has deep experience in the yachting industry.
Mr. Wagner’s notable assignments include the sale of a professional sports team and subsequent IRS examination of the transaction; assisting closely held companies with tax planning; in negotiating business purchases, sales, related planning and due diligence engagements; and the acquisition, operation and disposition of aircraft and vessels ranging in value from six to eight figures.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Wagner founded and managed Wagner Consulting Aviation & Tax, a boutique tax and aviation consulting firm in West Palm Beach. He served as CFO and CEO for an Automobile Technology company, managing the sale to a synergistic buyer. Prior to this, Mr. Wagner served as a partner with a national public accounting firm, serving as the firm’s National Tax Lead of Business Aviation.
Mr. Wagner earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University. He is a Florida Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and the Tax Committee of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). Mr. Wagner speaks often to professional and civic organizations, including AICPA, the National Business Aviation Association and the Super Yacht Symposium.
