Mr. Gänzle has held management positions across Japan, the U.S. and Greater Asia, including roles at Daimler Chrysler, Mecedes Benz Group and GM/Toyota, where he served as the Head of Distinguished Factory Launch and Global Platform Engineer. In addition, he served as a Managing Partner for the Daimler in-house Consultancy LMC Lean Manufacturing running cost improvement and restructuring projects for Daimler CXO Board.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Gänzle was a Partner at Bain and Company and a core member of the Global Automotive Practice and Global Improvement Service Practice. An affiliated member of the PEG/Enterprise Technology Practice, he led the competence team for RD and operations/supply chain improvement programs, serving OEMs and Tier-1 clients across Europe and internationally.

Previously, as an Associate Partner at Kearney, Mr. Gänzle developed and ran projects within the lean agile enterprise (LEA) program, including applying advanced improvement methodologies such as funding-led strategy, modular car platforms, lean production, system and program line management to anchor an efficient simultaneous organizational workflow and flat structure. 

Mr. Gänzle earned a master’s degree in business and engineering from the University for Economics and Environment HFWU Nürtingen/Stuttgart. A senior fellow of the Toyota Lean Enterprise Academy and Fraunhofer Technology Institute, he is fluent in English, French and German and has basic conversational Italian and Spanish.
