Mandy Coffey
Ms. Coffey has supported numerous large, complex initiatives, including guiding a multistate consumer‑facing enterprise through a full licensing transition during an ownership change, coordinating a comprehensive renewal and data‑remediation program for a national services operator, and overseeing end‑to‑end license mapping and conversion planning for a diversified organization restructuring its regional footprint. Her work often includes evaluating transferability constraints, identifying jurisdictions requiring new applications, managing high‑risk regulatory timelines, and ensuring continuity of operations across hundreds of locations.
In addition to client delivery, Ms. Coffey contributes to industry thought leadership. She authored “Get Ready for Restructuring: Your Licenses and Key Components for a Successful Transition,” featured in A&M’s Tax Advisor Weekly and published on A&M’s License Advisory Services website. She collaborates frequently with internal restructuring, diligence, and transaction teams to provide licensing perspectives that inform deal timing, risk assessments, and Day One operational planning.
With a Yellow Belt in Six Sigma, Ms. Coffey applies process‑improvement techniques to workflow design, large‑volume conversions, reconciliation efforts, and operational efficiency. Earlier in her career, she managed federal, state, and local tax compliance across partnerships, C‑corporations, S‑corporations, and sales and use tax engagements.
Ms. Coffey earned a BBA in accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Texas.
