Brian Giessler

With more than 20 years of hospital and provider operations experience, Mr. Giessler has successfully led multidisciplinary teams focused on strategic growth, revenue enhancement, cost reduction and operational improvements, yielding $100 million in net improvements. His experience spans academic medical centers, community hospitals, large health systems, private equity and joint venture organizations. His primary focus has been transformational work in the turnaround, startup and rapid scaling phases of organizations.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Giessler served as the Chief Commercial Officer, leading product vision and go-to-market strategy for a successful healthcare supply chain fintech startup focused on solving complex healthcare supply chain issues with technology. Before that, he served as Health System VP and Chief Administrative Officer of ambulatory surgery centers and lead system-wide perioperative optimization improvement efforts for Johns Hopkins Health System. Earlier, Mr. Giessler was the Senior Vice President of operations and business services for Sovereign Healthcare, where he oversaw the financial and operational functions of their surgery centers, four anesthesia groups and pathology group.
Previously, Mr. Giessler was a supply chain consultant with Navigant, focusing on spine and orthopedic procurement strategies for large health systems and Academic Medical Centers. He has also served in various roles as a surgical service business, clinical labor productivity and budget leader.
Mr. Giessler earned a BBA from Bryant College, an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree in legal studies, healthcare and compliance and transaction law from The University of Oklahoma.
